The Berga City Hall building was designed in 1929 by the architect Emili Porta i Galobart. The plenary hall of Berga City Council retains the original furniture and lighting, which dates from 1930. The furniture is unique. These are oak furniture with a matte wax finish, some have the coat of arms of the city of Berga carved by hand and also feature floral ornaments. The seats of the Councilors and the Mayor are upholstered in velvet.
