Bell Recó, because of its locations and proportions, the beauty of its gardens and its significant artistic value, is one of the most luxurious mansions in Catalonia. It is about 20 minutes from Barcelona, near Argentona countryside of the Maresme. In fact, it is an exclusive place, set apart and yet nearby. The construction was begun in 1940 and took approximately an additional 12 years to complete. In 1952, the family finally inaugurated the house. It¿s decorated granite and wood and paintings of the personal friend of the family, and well-known Catalan painter, Josep Maria Sert.
