Synopsis:

One particularly hot summer, Sister Consuelo, the superior of a religious order providing charitable medical atention, decides to undertake a project to transform the town's rambling and near useless hospital into an old people's home equipped with the most modern facilities.
To finance the project, the determined nun decides to visit a wealthy local landowner, Augusto Aixelá, who is famed for being a womaniser. He finds the nun's determination endearing and decides to help her, advocating her project among the higher circles of the government that he frequents in Madrid. However, their frequent meetings bring about a closeness that eventually turns into a passionate and stormy attraction, an attraction they will remember until the end of their days.
