Snowflake knows what it’s like to be different. His snow-white fur has set him apart from other gorillas since the day he was born. He wants more than anything to be a normal gorilla and now that he’s living in Barcelona Zoo, it looks like a visit to a powerful witch may be Snowflake’s chance to get his wish. But outside the safety of the zoo’s walls, his friends are in danger. Luc de Sac is a cold-hearted man who is cursed with bad luck. He is convinced that Snowflake’s heart is the amulet he needs to finally put an end to his jinx and he is prepared to do whatever it takes to get it.
