Pepi and Asuncioneta, two little girls from a working class neighbourhood of thirties Barcelona, are fascinated by one of their local characters –a “wonderful madwoman” whose bizarre appearance has earned her the name Lady Buns, and around whose past a legend has been woven. As if it were a game, Pepi, with her boundless imagination, submerges us in Lady Bun’s past, transforming her into a beautiful young woman who went mad with love…
