Castelldefels Beach is a long strip of fine grained golden sand 18 km south of Barcelona that is nestled between two distinct ecosystems: the Llobregat River delta with wetlands and reed beds, and the limestone highlands of the Garraf Park. It is 4.8 kilometres long with an average width of 90 meters and an approximate total surface area of 500,000 m2.
Various water sports can be practised here as well as swimming, sunbathing and/or walking along the beach or the promenade.
The Castelldefels City Council has now installed FREE WIFI service covering the Castelldefels beach.
