Opened to the public on 4 October 1897, this is a simple cemetery which was built to cater for the needs of the then-independent town of Les Corts.
Nowadays, along with that of Sant Andreu, it is one of the city’s most visited and popular cemeteries. The cemetery is divided into eight sections which contain a mixture of niches, tombs and monumental graves. The chapel is found in the middle of the central area.
