Hangar is based in Can Ricart, an industrial complex built in the mid-nineteenth century in the Poble Nou, Barcelona, one of the first industries dedicated to mechanical stamping in Catalonia.

Hangar occupies a join surface of 2,600 m2 distributed in 3 spaces available for filming, projects or cultural productions.

Hangar offers construction and hardware development services, with support for artists or set designers. The spaces have an unloading area and Wi-Fi access.

SPACES

Ricson: 230m2 set, 8 meters high and a 25 m2 mezzanine-meeting room. Black space without natural light, soundproof, isolated of dressing room areas, heating and a maximum power of 60kw.

• Uses: Filming - Rehearsals - Installation tests - Projection and sound - Photo sessions – Meetings. Multipurpose

Space: 200 m2 floor plan and 4.50 m high. Painted white, natural light with the possibility of darkening.

• Uses: Filming - Rehearsals - Assembly of large format pieces and installations - Installation tests - Projection and sound services - Photo sessions – Meetings.

Plaça: Plant 100 m2 and 4.50 m high. Painted white, with natural light.

• Uses: Small format events - Meetings - Workshops - Installation tests - Photo sessions.

SERVICES

• Production Lab: comprehensive production of projects, construction of sets and materials laboratory.
• Soft/Hardware and Interaction Lab: Application development includes real-time interaction, synchronizations, mechanisms, automation, and remote controls. Programming and construction of prototypes.
• Equipment: Editing and post-production room for video and audio and equipment rental.
