Parc Samà is a romantic garden, declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest, designed and built by Josep Fontserè Mestres during 1881. It is a garden of more than 13 hectares where you can breathe the legacy of a marquisate, the Marquis of Marianao, Salvador Samà Torrents, where he wanted to create a round trip to the Americas, more specifically in Cuba. Parc Samà is a romantic garden where we can find a handful of different landscapes such as French flowerbeds, an English forest, modernist structures and many corners of colonial Cuba. The whole park is surrounded by living nature, palm trees, reeds, oaks, lakes and waterfalls and a great exotic fauna.
