‘Cuando yo existía’ films in Barcelona

Spanish-Uruguayan co-production

Martín Avdolov and Alejandro Damiani make their directorial debut in this film. Cuando yo existía is a co-production between El Cielo Cine and Metropolis Films (Uruguay) and Mr Miyagi Films (Spain) with the associated production of Moon Ideas.

Actor César Troncoso is the lead actor alongside Silvia Kutika, Néstor Guzzini, Eduardo Migliónico, Ariel Caldarelli, Mónica Gonzaga, Mirella Pascual and Mauro Francisco. The film was shot first in Montevideo and finished in Barcelona.

Cuando yo existía tells the story of Silvio, a recently retired man who cannot collect his pension because the system has given him up for dead. Caught in a bureaucratic system, he will do everything to prove his “existence”. The release of the film will be in 2025.
