Carlos Cuevas stars in the role of Pol Rubio in this Movistar+ series. After the success of the original series on tv3, in this new series Pol started college. He has decided to study philosophy, thanks to having a professor like Merlí Bergeron.

In the first season of Merlí: Sapere Aude, we see Pol in his first year at the University of Barcelona. There, he meets new teachers like Bolaño, the character of Maria Pujalte, and lives new experiences. Now Pol begins a new course with new additions. Eusebio Poncela and Jordi Coll join the cast. Poncela will be Dino, the owner of the Satanassa bar. And Jordi Coll is Axel, an attractive carpenter who works on the restoration works at the university. Menna Fité continues directing. The production is shooting these days of August in our city. The second season of the series will premiere in 2021 on Movistar +.
