
November has kicked off this original Netflix series on heroin trafficking in Barcelona in 1960.
Helena (Adriana Ugarte) is a prostitute who starts working for the boss of a mafia band called Malpica (Javier Rey). This fiction shows the rise of this woman who will go from being a simple pawn in the organization to being the one who controls drug trafficking in Barcelona. The story is inspired by real events.
They will have to do with the Narcotics Brigade led by Inspector Alejandro Vinuesa (Eduardo Noriega), along with his companions Eladio (Josep Julien), Clemente (Àlex Casanovas) and Silvia (Marina Salas). The cast is completed by Marc Martínez and Pep Ambròs, who give life to two characters faithful to Malpica. In addition, Ingrid Rubio is Celeste, a woman who runs Club Albatros where part of the plot takes place. That club is where the best and the worst of the city gathers. The series has been created by Verónica Fernández (Velvet Collection) and will be directed by Jorge Torregrossa (Fariña). Hache will have a season of eight episodes of 50 minutes each and its release date is scheduled for 2019.
