07/24/2024

Serial adaptation of the novel by Javier Cercas

Created by Eligio R. Montero, Terra Alta is directed by Eduard Cortés. The Movistar + and Secuoya Studios production adapts the novel of the same name by Javier Cercas into a series. It is a police thriller whose starting point is the murder of two important impresarios in Catalonia.

The cast is led by Miguel Bernardeau, Ivan Massagué, Marta Etura, Bea Segura, Goya Toledo, Pere Ponce, Pablo Derqui, Manel Barceló, Jordi Martínez and Francesc Orella.

The 14-week filming will be in various locations in Catalonia between Barcelona and Terra Alta and the Canary Islands. This fiction of six 50-minute chapters is the adaptation of the 2019 Planeta Prize-winning novel, a police thriller that tells the story of a Mossos d'Esquadra agent who risks everything for his principles. Ghosts from the past haunted him.

ECHAR A RODAR: "On starting a shoot, it’s increasingly normal for productions to directly seek or select different consultancies to be in charge of sustainability."

This month we interviewed Julio Blas, director and sustainability consultant at Echar a Rodar; Anna Corbella, sustainability and CSR consultant at Echar a Rodar and Elisabeth Lozano, director and sustainability consultant at Circulav.
